It’s been our privilege to work with Feeding San Diego in their efforts to connect with clients, donors, and the community. The San Diego operation is leading the way among local branches of the Feeding America organization in developing more effective branding and communication tools. In addition to their website, we designed their interactive annual reports for 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016.
We were also asked to create a mascot for the organization, to be used in various communications to clients and partner agencies. Our initial design directions eventually grew into a family of mascot elements, representing food and the distribution process. Named Weelz and the Nutrition Crew (or theNu Crew for short), the mascot characters offer flexibility of use, as they can be portrayed separately or together.
