A leader in data storage technology, Toshiba was looking to increase awareness among engineering and tech industry decision-makers of its unmatched line of hard drive and solid state storage solutions. We developed an airport ad campaign, with multiple display ads (fabric banners, Duratrans displays and digital billboards) placed in the tech-center airports of San Jose, Boston, New York, Seattle, Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin. The goal was to create ads that positioned Toshiba as synonymous with data storage.
The lead concept in the campaign boiled the message down to the direct “Toshiba IS Storage.” The other ads took different creative and visual angles to support that core position. Body copy was kept short and consistent with the message that Toshiba is the only true, end-to-end storage solutions provider.

Our team loves partnering with technology innovators leading the way in hardware, software and services, but recently we’ve had the opportunity to work with a totally different kind of leader—Kanstul Musical Instruments. Many professional players consider Kanstul instruments the finest in the world. The company designs and builds the fullest line of brass instruments available, from piccolo trumpets to concert tubas, and they do it all in their factory in Anaheim.
Our first assignments included design for their presence at the music industry’s big NAMM show this year, including a poster that traces a timeline from 1824 up to the present, showing an unbroken lineage of master builders, leading to Zigmant Kanstul.
We followed that up with a print ad for the model 1603, a re-issue of the Martin Committee, a legendary trumpet used by jazz giants such as Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis.

For over 100 years, ABM has been providing facilities services for a broad range of industries. When they launched an initiative to expand their presence in the healthcare industry, we were asked to develop a comprehensive messaging matrix, on which we based a print ad campaign. Later, we had the opportunity to repeat the process with messaging and ads focusing on airport services.
For healthcare, we made the focus on an increasingly important area of concern for hospitals and other healthcare providers: patient satisfaction. In addition, we stressed a strong differentiator for ABM against its competitors, which is that ABM backs up their claim with a guarantee based on key performance metrics. In the case of the airport campaign, cost reduction and traveler satisfaction were featured as high-priority goals for airports in an environment of increasing competition.

In addition to creating digital advertising for American Airlines Cargo, we had opportunities to do some special projects that involved some unique approaches.
It was so well-received that we were later asked to design and build their annual holiday card on the same platform, which they plan to continue using for other promotions and cards. This holiday card concept uses a shape for the gift box that would be recognized by their audience as the profile of an air cargo container.

We started our relationship with The New Children’s Museum in San Diego when they were preparing to open a new, green-architecture facility, and came to us to develop their new website. Since then, we’ve partnered with them in many exciting promotional efforts.
The Museum’s website functions as an involvement center for parents, educators and the community. Visitors get information on exhibits and programs, and book visits and parties. Our approach focused on structuring the content for optimal accessibility, while keeping the “fun” aspect up front.
Designing the themes for the Museum's annual fundraising galas has also given our team lots of opportunities to get creative.

When Sage launched new versions of their Sage 100 and Sage 300 business software solutions, we were engaged to design a brochure mailer to talk about new visual and other user-interface enhancements. The resulting piece used successive, stepped, die-cut windows to create a staged “reveal” and to entice the viewer to engage.

Eyemotive has enjoyed a long relationship with the Toshiba memory products group. Our team has been involved in many branding, advertising, collateral and packaging efforts over a ten-plus year relationship.
These samples show some of our past and recent work for Toshiba. They include the development of the brandmark for their "Inventor of Flash" positioning strategy (along with the 25th anniversary logo extension), packaging design for the consumer retail space, and a print ad campaign aimed at the engineer audience. We also created the concept, copy and design for an online and print campaign, using a '60s poster style, to promote Toshiba's experience in hard drives going back to 1967.

Mindtree delivers technology services to Global 1000 companies, and is one of the fastest-growing technology firms globally with more than 200 clients and offices in 14 countries. They recently engaged us to design five regionally-focused microsites, featuring highlights from the results of a survey they conducted on the preferences of shoppers who use both physical and digital retail venues.
The solution utilized a modular approach to present the most interesting findings for each region (US, UK, Germany, Benelux, global), illustrated with infographics. We also designed a set of infographic PDFs that provide more detail, which are linked to, along with the full report, on each microsite.

When the idea of a new restaurant chain based on a wild menu of 30 flavors of buffalo wings was still the concept stage, we were given the challenge of developing the brand image that would represent a carefree environment, exciting flavors and a little bit of craziness. The wing-walker logo, wood-type poster styles and references to early twentieth century entertainment were the direction we took. The identity elements were very effectively brought indoors by Wingnuts’ architectural firm.
The Wingnuts print campaign highlights the theme and variety of the menu, using a tone that kept things light and whimsical.

Initially, JMG Security Systems engaged our team to build a new website, but as discussion expanded into other ways we could strengthen their brand image, it was decided that we would also develop a refreshed brandmark identity.
JMG provides security solutions to larger commercial clients, including Angels Stadium and the Honda Center, where their logo gets exposure as part of the company’s sponsorship role. Our design goal was to create a bold, solid mark that both supported the idea of strong security and allowed for easy recognizability in a variety of media, such as banner signage and LED billboards. Also, because JMG emphasizes exceptional service, we developed a tagline that linked service to the security deliverable.

It’s been our privilege to work with Feeding America San Diego in developing their new website and organization mascots. The San Diego operation is leading the way among the many branches in the national organization in developing more effective branding and communication tools. We also designed their interactive annual reports for 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.
Among our goals with the website was to clearly organize the content so it was easily accessible to the organization’s various audience groups—donors, distribution partners and clients. We were also asked to create a mascot for the organization, to be used in various communications to clients and partner agencies. Our initial design directions eventually grew into a family of mascot elements, representing food and the distribution process. Named Weelz and the Nutrition Crew (or the Nu Crew for short), the mascot characters offer flexibility of use, as they can be portrayed separately or together.

LifeLock wanted to reach out to different types of organizations to explain the benefits of LifeLock’s identity theft protection programs, both to the organization as a whole, and to its constituent members. We developed a series of digital collateral, using infographics, to highlight issues and statistics around identity theft and how LifeLock can deliver critical solutions. Groups targeted include employers, credit unions, affinity organizations and subscribers.
To complement the collateral effort, we built an online ROI calculator tailored to each group.
